Seminar of Prof Jörg Enderlein. October 18

Dear all,

We would like to draw your attention to the visit of Prof Jörg Enderlein, who will deliver a seminar as a Lokey distinguished speaker on

Thursday, October 18 @13:30

Faculty of Biomedical Engineering – Silver, 201

The title of his talk:

“Image Scanning Microscopy and Metal Induced Energy Transfer:

Enhancing Microscopy Resolution in All Directions”

Jörg Enderlein is a Professor of biophysics in Georg August University, Göttingen, Germany. He is an extremely creative innovator in the field of single molecule spectroscopy/microscopy, and has been active in the development of many far-field and near-field methods for optical super-resolution microscopy, including: super-resolution optical fluctuation imaging (SOFI), dual-focus fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (2fFCS), fluorescence lifetime correlation spectroscopy (FLCS), defocused image analysis of single molecules (DIAM), Image-Scanning-Microscopy (ISM), Metal Induced Energy Transfer (MIET), and more.
Jörg is an exciting speaker and his talk is highly recommended to anyone interested in microscopy.
If you are interested to meet with Jörg please email Yoav Shechtman yoavsh@bm.technion.ac.il.
Best wishes,
Yoav
