The Infrastructure Center provides services, technology training, and teaching for all Technion researchers , as well as academicians from other institutions and industry professionals. The Center offers state-of-the-art technology platforms for researchers at the forefront of life sciences and engineering. In addition, the Center develops technology and offers teaching, to ensure Technion scientists access to the latest methodologies and knowledge.
The Center comprises three sub-groups: Genomics (Technion Genome Center), Light Microscopy and Imaging, and Flow Cytometry. Investment in highly trained personnel and cutting edge equipment enable the Center to provide the research community with excellent services. The Infrastructure Center believes that all its clients should have comprehensive knowledge of the instrumentation they use and the field in which they operate. To this end, the Center prepares user manuals for each piece equipment, and conducts workshops, conferences, and academic courses.
